Where is Eurowag fuel card accepted?

Eurowag fuel card is accepted at all fuel stations in the Eurowag acceptance network. See the acceptance network here. The acceptance network includes Eurowag’s own truck parks.

Can Eurowag fuel card be used for toll payments?

What is EETS?

EETS stands for Electronic European Toll Service, which is a system that allows drivers to pay tolls electronically in multiple European countries using a single OBU (on-board unit). With the EETS system, drivers can reduce the number of OBUs when travelling across Europe and simplify the toll bureaucratic process.

What does pre-pay and post-pay modes stand for in context of Toll payment solution?

Pre-pay mode: In a pre-pay mode, customer is firstly paying a deposit to the Eurowag account and then this money is used to cover the expenses.

Post-pay mode: In a post-pay mode, customers could use the toll service and then receive an invoice for payment. The post-pay mode and credit limit should be approved by the Eurowag Credit Department.

In which countries can I pay toll with EW EETS OBU (EVA)?

EW EETS OBU (EVA) covers 9 toll domains and is the first OBU that allows to pay tolls in the Czech Republic and Slovakia (coming in 2023).

Together with Axxes DSRC tag you can pay tolls in the following countries: Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Storebaelt Bridge, A1 & A4 (Poland) motorways, France, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Øresund Bridge, Liefkenshoek Tunnel, and Herren Tunnel.

How does tax refund work?

What is the difference between VAT and excise duty?

VAT (Value Added Tax) and excise duty are both taxes that are levied on goods and services.

  • VAT is a tax on the value added at each stage of production and distribution of goods and services. It is a consumption tax that is added to the price of the goods or services and is paid by the final consumer VAT is usually a percentage of the price of the goods or services. Eurowag can arrange VAT refunds on fuel, tolls, and other business-related costs in 28 countries.
  • Excise duty, on the other hand, is a tax on specific goods such as tobacco, alcohol, fuel, and other products that are considered to be harmful or non-essential. Excise duty is usually applied as a fixed amount per unit of the product, such as per liter of alcohol or per pack of cigarettes. Eurowag offers this service in 8 countries.
What is the difference between a standard service and a paid service?

The main difference between a standard service and a paid service is that a standard service is typically provided free of charge, while a paid service requires the customer to pay a fee in order to receive the service.A standard service is a basic service that is provided to customers without any additional charge. Examples of standard services include basic customer support, free access to online content, and basic features of software applications.

In which countries can I be reimbursed?

The ability to be reimbursed for expenses depends on various factors, including the country where the expenses were incurred, the reason for the expenses, and the policies of the organization or government entity responsible for reimbursement. Here are some general guidelines:
